Terms of Service

1. Service Description

ClawBots ("we," "us," or "our") provides a hosted AI assistant platform accessible at claw-bots.com. When you subscribe, we provision a dedicated AI instance on our infrastructure that remains online around the clock. You connect your own AI provider credentials — such as a ChatGPT Plus account, Anthropic Claude subscription, or compatible API key — and interact with your assistant through Telegram and our web interface.

ClawBots acts as an infrastructure and integration layer. We do not operate the underlying AI models and are not responsible for the responses generated by third-party AI providers. The quality, accuracy, and safety of AI-generated content are governed by the respective provider's terms and policies.

2. Account Responsibilities

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately at support@claw-bots.com.

You are solely responsible for any third-party credentials (API keys, OAuth tokens, provider accounts) you connect to ClawBots. Do not share credentials that give access to sensitive personal or financial data unless you fully understand the implications. ClawBots stores connected credentials in encrypted form and does not use them for any purpose beyond operating your instance.

You agree to provide accurate and current information when registering and to keep your account details up to date, including a valid email address and payment method.

3. Payment and Billing

ClawBots operates on a monthly subscription model. By subscribing to a plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the start of each billing cycle. All fees are listed in US dollars and are exclusive of any applicable taxes, which you are responsible for paying.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before your next renewal date. Cancellation stops future charges but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period — your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice before a price change takes effect by emailing the address on your account. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

If a payment fails, we will attempt to collect it again over a short period. If payment cannot be collected, your instance may be suspended until the outstanding balance is resolved. We are not liable for any loss of data or service caused by account suspension due to non-payment.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use ClawBots only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the service. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Using the service to generate, distribute, or facilitate illegal content of any kind.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from ClawBots systems.
• Transmitting malware, viruses, or any code designed to disrupt or damage systems.
• Using the platform to send unsolicited bulk messages, spam, or phishing communications.
• Sharing your account access with others or reselling ClawBots services without written authorization.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other users' instances, data, or our infrastructure.
• Violating the acceptable use policies of any connected third-party AI provider.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section without prior notice and without refund.

5. Data Privacy

We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using ClawBots, you consent to the data practices described therein.

Conversation data exchanged with your AI assistant may be transmitted to your chosen third-party AI provider to generate responses. ClawBots does not sell your personal data or conversation history to third parties. We may retain usage metadata (such as request counts and timestamps) to operate, improve, and secure the platform.

You retain ownership of any content you input or generate through the service. You grant ClawBots a limited license to process that content solely to provide and maintain the service for you.

6. Intellectual Property

ClawBots and its underlying technology, branding, and original content are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand assets without prior written consent.

ClawBots is powered in part by OpenClaw, an open-source project. Use of open-source components is subject to their respective licenses. Nothing herein limits rights granted to you under those open-source licenses.

7. Disclaimers

ClawBots is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any content generated by third-party AI models connected through our platform. You use AI-generated responses at your own risk and should exercise independent judgment before acting on any information provided by an AI assistant.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ClawBots and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising under or related to these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid to ClawBots in the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on liability, so the above may not apply to you in full.

9. Termination

You may cancel your subscription and close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Upon termination, your instance will be shut down and your data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Grounds for immediate termination include violations of these Terms, fraud, abuse of the platform, or actions that could harm other users or our infrastructure.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including payment obligations, intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution — will remain in effect after your account is closed.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of ClawBots after a change becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

If you disagree with a change, your only remedy is to stop using the service and cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of ClawBots shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction, as appropriate under the law of your jurisdiction.
